MEET PASTOR  & FIRST LADY WILLIAMS

Pastor Randy Williams came to the Lord at an early age, and received his salvation as a young boy at County Line Baptist Church in his hometown of San Augustine Texas. Years later, as a young man at Prairie View A&M University, Pastor Williams rededicated his life to the Lord, and made a serious commitment to fully serve God. In 1978, Pastor Williams joined Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church and served faithfully as a teacher of the Baptist Training Union, Superintendent of the Sunday School, and Co-Chairman of the Deacon Board.

In 1979, he married Amelia, his beautiful wife of 33 years and to that union, two children were born. In 1982, Pastor Williams announced his call to preach the Gospel, and on April 24th of that year, he preached his first sermon. As a young minister, Pastor Williams faithfully served his predecessor, Pastor V.W. McGee. Upon Pastor McGee’s resignation, Pastor Williams was chosen by God and the congregation to become the new Pastor. He was called into this position on June 11, 1984, and since then, he and his wife Amelia have worked tirelessly to fulfill the duties of their calling.

As Pastor, Rev. Williams has constantly endeavored to take the church to a higher level of biblical truth and spiritual maturity. Under his leadership, the church has built two new sanctuaries and many ministries have been introduced to serve the members.

Pastor Williams holds a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Technology/Business Administration from Prairie View A&M University. In May 2012, he received a Bachelor of Biblical Studies from the Grace Mid Acts Institute. His wife Amelia holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Texas Southern University.

Rev. Williams is a man of peace, righteousness, integrity, and hard work. He is a pillar of strength and progress in his community, and an inspiration to family, members, and friends.
